Turkish Consulate Dubai Appointment: How to Book at the Turkish Embassy in the UAE

A Turkish consulate Dubai appointment is booked online through Türkiye’s consular portal, konsolosluk.gov.tr: you choose the UAE and the mission (the Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General in Dubai), open “Make Appointment”, select the service, enter your Turkish ID number, date of birth and email address, then pick a date and time. Turkish visas are booked separately, through VFS Global.

We tested the system ourselves in October 2026, so the steps below match what you will see on screen.

Embassy or Consulate: Which Mission Do You Need?

Türkiye has two missions in the UAE: the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai. The Consulate covers Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, from the 29th floor of the Dubai World Trade Centre building on Sheikh Zayed Road; its full details are on the Turkish Consulate General in Dubai contact page.

Helpfully, the Turkish embassy appointment system shows the earliest slot at both missions side by side, so if timing matters more than distance, you can switch with one click.

How to Book a Turkish Consulate Dubai Appointment on konsolosluk.gov.tr

1. Choose the Country and the Mission

Open the Turkish consular services portal and a window asks you to select a mission. Choose the United Arab Emirates in the first list, then “Dubai Consulate General” or “Abu Dhabi Embassy” in the second, and confirm with the green button. The language switch at the top turns the portal into English.

Step 1: selecting the UAE and the Dubai Consulate General

2. Open the “Make Appointment” Menu

The menu (“Randevu Al” in Turkish) offers two options: “Consular Operations for Turkish Citizens”, covering passports, ID cards, powers of attorney and civil registry matters, and “Visa Pre-Application for Foreigners”. You need the first.

3. Select the Service Category, Then the Transaction

Categories include birth, civil registration, marriage, passport, military service, notary, citizenship, death and judicial matters; click one to reveal its transactions. For a power of attorney, open the notary category (“NOTERLİK” on the Turkish interface) and choose “Noterlik İşlemi Başvurusu”; a note beneath it confirms that you must attend in person after booking.

4. Compare the Earliest Available Dates

Once you pick a transaction, a pop-up lists the nearest date at each Turkish mission in the country. On 15 October 2026, Abu Dhabi had a slot the next day and Dubai four days later. Click “Continue process in here” to stay, or “Choose this mission” to switch.

5. Enter Your Identity Details and Verify Your Email

The system asks whether you know your Turkish ID number and whether you hold a Blue Card (Mavi Kart), then requests your ID number, date of birth and email, and sends a verification code to that address. Answer that you do not know your ID number, and it stops you outright: no booking without one.

6. Pick the Date and Time, Then Confirm

Choose a date and time and confirm. Your Turkish embassy appointment is now booked, and a confirmation email gives the exact time. To check or cancel later, use “Query Appointment” or the cancellation button beside it.

Which Services Need an Appointment, and Which Do Not

The Dubai Consulate publishes an official table on the portal (“Appointment Information for the Representative Office” on the home page):

Service Appointment needed?
Passport application and collection, temporary passport Yes
ID card, civil registry records, registration of a foreign divorce Yes
Registration of births, marriages and deaths Yes
Power of attorney, revocation, consent letters, undertakings and contracts Yes
Citizenship, Blue Card and military service Yes
Criminal record certificate and collection of judicial notices Yes
Attestation of signatures and seals on documents issued by foreign authorities No
Attestation of a sworn translator’s signature No
Funeral transport document for burial in Türkiye No

Booked appointments run Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 11:30 and 13:00 to 15:30. Documents for attestation are handed in at the entrance before 12:00 and collected, attested, the next working day.

Attesting UAE Documents at the Turkish Consulate

Before the Turkish Consulate in Dubai will attest a UAE document, such as a birth certificate, marriage certificate or trade licence, it must first carry MOFA attestation in Dubai. The Consulate’s own attestation then needs no appointment.

At Insta Attestation Services we handle the whole chain: we collect the original from any emirate, complete the MOFA stamp, submit it to the Consulate and bring it back ready to use, backed by more than ten years in document legalization services.

Powers of Attorney at the Turkish Consulate for Non-Turkish Citizens

Foreign nationals may sign a power of attorney at the Consulate, but it is drawn up in Turkish, so anyone who does not speak the language needs a sworn translator and an ID document with a certified Turkish translation. Since the booking form requires a Turkish ID number, non-Turkish citizens should contact the Consulate first to confirm how to arrange their visit.

Some powers of attorney can instead be signed before a notary public in Dubai, then attested by UAE MOFA and the Turkish Consulate. Certain types, however, can only be drawn up at a Turkish mission, so check with the authority receiving it in Türkiye first.

Booking a Turkish Visa Appointment Through VFS Global

Visa applications go to VFS Global, the official partner. You book after creating an account on the VFS Global Türkiye appointment page. Keep in mind:

  • The Dubai centre serves residence visas from Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah; the Abu Dhabi centre serves Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
  • Appointments open only within 60 days of your planned travel.
  • First-degree relatives of Turkish citizens, and their domestic workers, may apply without an appointment during submission hours.
  • Both centres open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00.

First, though, check the official Turkish e-Visa portal: depending on your nationality or existing visas, you may qualify for an e-Visa and need no appointment at all.
